Drake & The Weeknd Among Billboard's Top Artists Of 2015

By HHL Editors

The Weeknd, Drake, Fetty Wap, Nicki Minaj and Wiz Khalifa were among the 20 most popular artists of 2015, according to Billboard.

The music mag used a formula based an artist's chart performance on the Billboard Hot 100 (which includes airplay, sales, and streaming data), the Billboard 200 albums chart, touring revenue, social media and ringtone sales to determine their list.

It's no big surprise that Taylor Swift -- who dominated 2015 -- was Billboard's top artist.

Second was Ed Sheeran, followed by the Torontonians: The Weeknd and Drake, in that order.

Fetty Wap was 8, Nicki Minaj 10 and Wiz Khalifa 16.

Check out the top 20: 20. Ellie Goulding 19. Fall Out Boy 18. Hozier 17. Walk The Moon 16. Wiz Khalifa 15. Justin Bieber 14. Luke Byran 13. Mark Ronson 12. Selena Gomez 11. Ariana Grande 10.
