In Rick Ross' Drake diss song, "Champagne Moments," he accuses Drizzy of sending French Montana a cease-and-desist letter.

"I unfollowed you, n*gga, 'cause you sent the muthaf**kin' cease-and-desist to French Montana, n*gga / You sent the police, n*gga, hatin' on my dog project," says Ross.

It turns out that Ross didn't make the accusation just for beef purposes, because Drake really did send the letter, according to Gamma CEO, Larry Jackson.

"The cease-and-desist letter was a real thing," said Jackson when he stopped by The Joe Budden Podcast. "I thought that was really funny  ... We all have different senses of humor ... I didn't think anybody was really trying to be nefarious. I just thought it was a joke."

The cease-and-desist was over the French song "Splash Brothers,"featuring Drake and Ross, which was supposed to be on the Bronx rapper's 2021 album They Got Amnesia.
