Drake has made some major changes to his defamation suit against UMG, according to reports.

He filed a federal lawsuit against the company in January and accused them of wrongfully promoting Kendrick Lamar's "Not Like Us" since Kendrick calls him a pedophile in the song.

So on Friday, February 21, Rollin A. Ransom, who's one of UMG's attorneys, requested to have a pretrial conference, set for April 2, pushed back.

That way the court can review Universal's motion to dismiss the case outright. The company has until March 17 to file its motion.

"[P]ursuant to separate correspondence, Plaintiff has agreed to withdraw certain key allegations in his complaint," Ransom wrote in his motion.

He didn't give any specifics about which allegations Drake withdrew, but the changes could have to do with Drizzy's case not being strong enough from the beginning.

We'll have to see how all of this plays out.
