Drake started his career as a TV actor.

And now he's returning to the medium which launched him.

The former Degrassi: The Next Generation star will be on the upcoming season of the British gangster drama Top Boy.

Ashley Walters, who plays Dushane in the series, told The Daily Mirror that producers are working out a role for Drizzy.

"We met up to start talking about the show and we are working out a role for him," Walters said. "He loves acting, of course he wanted a part. He's going to be really hands on and is getting stuck into it."
Drake's good buddy Skepta will also be on the third season of the show.

Expect Top Boy season 3 to hit Netflix sometime in 2018.

Update: It looks like Drake has bought the rights to the show, which last aired in 2013.

That's one way to get the acting career back on track without having to audition.
