It was June 13 when we received the news we've all been waiting for this summer; the release of "Scorpion", the latest album from Drake.
Last month Drizzy encountered something that, safe to say, has never happened to him in his career. Pusha T had delivered a devastating diss track revealing many personal problems and situations after the two took a few shots at each other, prior. First, Pusha took his jab on "Infrared" and then Drake's response on his "Duppy" freestyle.
Before we knew it, we found ourselves in the midst of what many were calling the greatest beef in Hip-Hop in a long time.
Many thought this was a good thing for Hip-Hop; two legendary artists going back and forth with nothing but BARS. Many fans waited patiently for Drake to respond to "The Story of Adidon", however, he never did.
It must have been so hard for Drake to bite his tongue, especially since it was rumored that he had a track recorded and ready, but, was told not to release this "career ending response".
We don't know for sure how it went down, but, Drake did walk away and proceeded to promote his album. The next release from Drizzy ended up being a video for "I'm Upset" which he dropped along with the cover/ release date for the album two weeks ago.
