Last month, J. Cole's track "KOD" broke the all-time Spotify record for streams in its first day with 4.2 million
Drake is a man with many streaming records, but he was a little irked he had one fewer.
So, according to Cole, Drizzy sent Cole what we will assume was a good-natured hate text.
"Yeah he text me and said I hate you," Cole told Angie Martinez in an interview which will air tomorrow.
Unfortunately for Cole, all of his streaming records for KOD the song or the album only lasted a week, as Post Malone's Beerbongs and Bentleys did just a little better. (Yes, all-time streaming records are sort of meaningless now because they're going to belong to the last big artist to drop an album.)
No word on whether Cole texted Post.
