DJ Akademiks Says Kendrick Lamar Booted Drake Off Playboi Carti's New Album

Drake recorded a verse for Playboi Carti's new album I Am Music, but the song didn't make the tracklist, according to DJ Akademiks.

Ak said that Kendrick Lamar is the album's creative director, and he left Drake off because of their beef.

But Carti's producer F1LTHY said Ak is completely wrong. 

"Kendrick fam but he is NOT the creative director of this album," wrote F1LTHY on social media.

Ak also read a text from Drake, who said he's working on new music but doesn't want any features.

"Don't attach no other artists to him, no friends. He's making good sh*t," Ak said after that. "He's locked in more than ever before."
