Drake's It’s All A Blur tour stopped in Atlanta yesterday, September 25, and he gave the southern city a lot of credit.

"Where would any of us be without Atlanta?" Drake remarked. "All the love that you show, all the musicians that you birthed, all the contributions that you give. This is hands down the most important place in rap music. You should be proud of yourselves."

"All the artists that I’ve done the greatest work with, all the artists that I love, all the artists that inspire me, the majority of them come from right here in Atlanta," he also stated. "So y’all make some noise for yourselves tonight. We celebrating you."

Drake's opinion that Atlanta is the most important place in rap music echoes Lil Baby's words from earlier this year.

"As far as culture, I feel like I been feeling. Atlanta is like the ruler of the culture as far as Hip Hop," Baby told Billboard. "It hasn’t been a new artist in like the last two or three years that really just emerged. But for the most part, I feel like Atlanta is still the ruler of Hip Hop’s core of culture."
