Drake Explains How He Feels About People Constantly Making Fun Of Him

by Daryl Nelson

There's been a lot of  memes related to Drake and 21 Savage's cut “Rich Flex" and it has to do with one of Drizzy's lines.

“21, can you do something for me? Can you hit a lil’ rich flex for me?" spits Drake in the Her Loss song.

The OVO boss was asked about his reaction to the memes during a sit-down and said he's able to take them in stride. He also talked about people making fun of him in other ways.

“We were out last night at this spot, and this girl was like  ... ‘How does it feel that everyone’s always making fun of you? I wouldn’t be able to take it,'” Drake recalled while speaking to the online casino Stake. “But she was talking about memes because ‘Rich Flex’ was on ... I was just like, you know, I understand after all these years that I feel like I have a polarizing presence. I’m almost a character in people’s movies and therefore there’s a running  dialogue. There’s jokes, you’re either the villain to some people or hero to some people."

“It is what it is, it just comes with the territory," he further explained. "As you grow and [achieve] success, you also grow and split opinion and you grow in all different ways. But ultimately, I’ve just found a way. I’ve always been able to laugh at myself, but I really do feel now that I mentally am able to separate the two. So I just want to stay in that zone, that’s kinda my resolution. I feel really good right now.”

Do you think Drake is a hero or a villian
