Drake Blasted By Police For Sticking To Street Code In Friend's Murder

by Daryl Nelson

It's been about a week since news surfaced that Drake's friend and OVO affiliate Fif was gunned down. It doesn't seem like police are any closer to solving the case, even though they have some pretty good video evidence of the brazen shooting.

They're also blaming Drake for not helping them with their investigation.  The police want him to either tell them something that he knows or encourage others to give up information. But the rapper hasn't done either.

"I would hope if Drake was a real and true friend that he would encourage anyone with information that pertains to the murder of a close friend to share that information with the police with a mind to protecting the community and bring justice to the deceased's family," said Detective Sgt. Gary Giroux in a statement to The Star.
What do you believe a rapper should do if he's in a position to help the police? Work with them or violate the street code and risk being called a snitch?
