Dr. Dre's Wife Claims Dre Ripped Up Their Prenup before Divorce

by HHL JT

When Dr. Dre and his wife Nicole Young announced their divorce last month the word was there was no prenup, which would be bad news for $800 dollar man Dre.

Last week, we started getting reports that there was a prenup.

Now, Nicole is claiming she did sign a prenup under extreme pressure right before the couple married in 1996, but then Dre felt bad about doing that to her and ripped it up, invalidating it and allowing her to seek half of his fortune.

The Blast reports:

In her declaration, Nicole claims Dre pressured her in the days leading up to their wedding, saying, "I must sign a premarital agreement or he would not marry me."

"I was extremely, reduction, resistant, and afraid to sign the agreement and felt backed into a corner," she continued.

Nicole claims Dr. Dre's lawyers drafted up the document and she was "left with no option but to sign it 'unwillingly.'

But, in the newly filed documents, Nicole claims that shockingly just two or three years after the couple got hitched, Dr. Dre took out the original prenup and RIPPED it into pieces right in front of her, all while confessing his love.

The filing says Dre "destroyed the agreements as a grand gesture of his love for Nicole and his desire to have a marriage free of any financial restrictions governing their respective rights and responsibilities."

At the time, Nicole claims Dr. Dre "felt ashamed he had pressured me into signing a premarital agreement and he tore up multiple copies of the agreement in front of me."
