Four men tried to rob Dr. Dre's house in Pacific Palisades, California in the wee hours of Wednesday, Jan. 6. Dre was in the hospital at the time after having a brain aneurysm on Monday.
From the looks of it, the burglars made the robbery attempt after learning that Dre was hospitalized and thought they'd be hitting an empty house. But security saw the men on the property, confronted them and phoned the police. The burglars took off but the cops caught and arrested them.
As for Dre, he gave an update on his condition Tuesday on Instagram and said he's recovering nicely.
"Thanks to my family, friends and fans for their interest and well wishes," he wrote. "I’m doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team. I will be out of the hospital and back home soon. Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!!"
