There's a significant twist in the divorce proceedings between Dr. Dre and Nicole Young.

Last month, Dre's business partner Larry Chatman accused Nicole of stealing almost 400K from the Record One studio he and Dre founded.

It sounded a bit like posturing for the divorce.  But there's enough to it that the LAPD are now investigating whether she embezzled $385,029 by withdrawing money from the studio's corporate account shortly after she filed for divorce

Nicole doesn't deny cashing the checks.  Instead, she'ss countered by claiming she has a right to the money because in the Record One account because her name is on it.

If the DA decides there is enough evidence to charge Nicole and she is convicted she would likely go to jail.
