Donald Glover Says Record Label Ripped Off Childish Gambino

Donald Glover says his old record label owes him $700,000 in streaming royalties.

Glassnote Entertainment Group says they don't because they were entitled to 50 percent of Glover's Childish Gambino streaming revenue.

According to The Blast, they are going to hash it all out in court.

In newly filed legal documents, Glover says an audit of  Glassnote “determined that, for specified periods, Glassnote withheld or underreported royalties and other payments that should have been paid.”

It also states, “Glassnote’s multiple breaches under the License Agreement concern, among other things, the taking of excess distribution fees, underreporting of international revenues, deduction of excess producer royalties, underreporting of merchandise sales, and undocumented manufacturing expense charges.”

It wasn't that long ago that Glover was threatening to retire his Gambino alter-ego. But with hits like "This Is America" and "Feels Like Summer" it's actually going as strong as ever.
