DMX's Take Down Of Drake Trends Because of Mos Def

by HHL JT

Yasiin Bey, who used to go by Mos Def, went off on Drake in a recent interview.

"Drake is pop to me," he said.  "In a sense, like, if I was in Target in Houston and I heard a Drake song it feels like it's compatible with shopping.  Or as you know, shopping with an edge, in certain instances ...  It's likeable ... So many products.  Look at all these SKUs.  I love this mall.  This is great.  The new Drake?  Do you hear it?"

Not very nice.

However, it's nowhere near as bad as what the late DMX said about Drake.

"I don't like anything about Drake.  I don't like his f*cking voice.  I don't like what he talks about.  I don't like his face.  I don't like the way he walks, like nothing.  I don't like his hair cut," X said, as CTG howled in the background.
