DMX is free while he awaits sentencing on one count of tax evasion, which will take place on March 29th.

His judge recently allowed him to travel, and he was just in St. Louis for a concert with E-40.

On his way home he went to the Chili's at the airport and hit up the bar.

Eyewitnesses say he was buying everyone shots and doing some of them himself. Drunk, happy DMX then discussed God with the airport bar patrons.

While it all seemed very entertaining, it's probably not good for X's future as a free man. He's supposed to be attending rehab sessions and traveling with a sober coach.

His lawyer Murray Richman told TMZ he was "surprised" to hear X was drinking at a bar.
