DMX didn't much care for Drake.
In fact, this is what he told The Breakfast Club about the Canadian in 2012:
"I don’t like anything about Drake. I don’t like his fucking voice. I don’t like what he talks about. I don't like his face. I don’t like the way he walks, nothing. I don't like his haircut. I might just...Lemme shut up. I'm gonna stop right there."X was on the radio show again this morning, but now he's singing a different Drizzy tune.
It's mainly because Drake reached out to X before sampling him on his VIEWS track 'U With Me', which used elements of X's 'What These Bitches Want" and "How's It Goin' Down.'
"A humbling experience," X said about Drake reaching out. "Like yo, you didn't like this guy for all the wrong reasons. First, to want to use a song of mine. Then, to be man enough to reach out and make that call ... that was a real move. I salute him for that."Check out the interview:
