DMX just got home Friday after ten months away on tax evasion
This morning, he stopped by Real 92.3 for a chat with Big Boy. During the interview, the 48-year old said he wasn't too happy about the lyrics he's hearing from his youngers in the rap game.
"They're all promoting drug use," he said. "If that’s what you wanna do, that's your business, but you ain't gotta promote it like it's cool and make it cool. And kids going around like, 'I'm popping Molly, I'm popping Percs."
DMX has notoriously struggled with substances over his long and interesting career. But he never really made it a theme of his work. Do you agree with X that Future and his ilk have taken it too far?
