DMX Accused Of Robbing Man At Gas Station Late Last Night

by HHL Editors

Last night, DMX headlined a concert at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, New Jersey. What he is accused of doing right after is a little mind boggling.

At 12:30 this morning, a 21-year old man said he recognized DMX at a Newark gas station. He briefly chatted with the 44-year old about rap music. Then a man in DMX's entourage allegedly pulled a gun on the 21-year old and demanded his money. According to Newark police spokesman Sgt. Ronald Glover:

The victim said he pulled $3,200 in cash from his pocket, and DMX "snatched the money out of his hand" before jumping into one of four black Cadillac Escalades that left the scene.
The victim was able to follow DMX's motorcade long enough to get the plates for one of the vehicles, which he gave to police.

At this point police aren't saying if the plate can be traced to DMX, or if they have talked to the rapper at all.

Still, we guess if there is anybody crazy enough to pull such a stunt it would be DMX.
