DJ White Owl passed away this past Sunday. His close friend Pokerface broke the news on Instagram. The cause of death was hypoleukemia, which is an aggressive form of cancer.
During his years as a DJ, White Owl made a name for himself by releasing quality tapes at a rapid pace. His popular Drop That series has spanned over 100 volumes and he always stayed connected to all the music coming out online, including many up and coming acts. He was respected among the music industry and premiered songs from the likes of Lil Wayne, and members of Dipset and D-Block.
