DJ Paul Says Juicy J Resigned From Three 6 Mafia; Juicy J Disagrees

by HHL JT

The relationship between DJ Paul and Juicy J has not been good lately.

Earlier this year, Paul unloaded on his Three 6 Mafia bro, calling him an "actor"  who had "fooled the world."

A few days ago, Paul called into Complex and claimed that J had permanently left Three 6 Mafia to focus on his solo career.

“Me and him had a conversation maybe four months back,” Paul explained. “What he told me was, ‘I’m done with Three 6 Mafia and I’m just gonna keep moving forward with my solo stuff.’ His solo stuff has been successful, so I wasn’t tripping out. Everyone has seen it coming. Me and him haven’t worked together in years. The last album we brought out together was in 2008, and it was called Last 2 Walk, because it was the last two to walk from a group of six. I had to respect his decision, and I wish him the best on his journey. I know it’ll be good for him. It’s been good for him already."

Paul wanted fans to know that he and Juicy were never, ever getting back together, despite offers of up to $250,000 a show for a reunion tour.

“It’s time to tell the fans, because they keep asking,” he elaborated. “They need to know. There ain’t no use in us playing like it’s going to happen one day.”

It turns out Juicy J doesn't think he quit Three 6 Mafia.

“He’s not resigning from the group," J's manager told Complex. “We still planning in the future [to] do some Three 6 Mafia stuff.”

In response, Paul said he doesn't care what a manager says and is sticking with his story of J being out.

Do you think they'll ever be more Three 6 Mafia?
