DJ Paul Rips Today's Rappers

by HHL JT

DJ Paul's been on a rampage lately.

A few weeks ago he unloaded on his Three 6 Mafia bro Juicy J, calling him an "actor"  who had "fooled the world."

Now he has set his sights on the new generation of rappers.

Plz Dont Call Me A Rapper! Its Embarrassing To Be A Rapper These Days! Rap Music Is A #ShitShow Now! No Talent, Targets, Thirtsy, Hungry, Desperate. SMH #MakeRapGoodAgain 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 #GodPlease

He expanded upon the Tweet in an interview with TMZ.

"Rappers are extra, extra lazy. They don't want to write raps. They don't want to write hooks. They just want to keep remaking stuff. That's fine. But at some point, we got to show some originality. If we don't, Hip Hop is going to die ... to me this is the worst state Hip Hop has ever been in."

Paul went on to say Kendrick Lamar is a rapper who does show originality. However, Paul believes K.Dot is one of only one percent of rappers who are doing something new. According to Paul, the rest are too busy ripping off Three 6 Mafia and other old-school acts to do their own thing.

"Don't pay homage, pay a check," Paul advised.

Do you agree?
