Video Of DJ Khaled Seemingly Bashing Tyler, The Creator Emerges

by HHL JT

DJ Khaled was furious that his album Father of Asahd finished second to Tyler, The Creator's IGOR (165K to 136K) when they both dropped last month. So much so that he stormed into Epic, the label he shares with Tyler, and made a big scene.

He also IGed and then deleted this video, in which he seems to be shading Tyler and the type of music he makes.

I tried to tell y’all DJ Khaled felt a type of way about losing to Tyler when he posted then deleted this on IG 😂 pic.twitter.com/MNTjqSuoMt

"I make albums so people can play it and you actually hear it. You know, driving your car you hear another car play it, go to the barbershop, you can hear them play it ... it's playing everywhere. It's called great music. It's called albums that you actually hear the songs. Not no mysterious s***, and you never hear it. "

However, Khaled's people insist he wasn't taking a shot at his labelmate.

Instead, his issue is with Billboard. According to Khaled's team, the DJ was told an album bundle he did with a nutritional supplement would count on the charts, but it ended up not counting. They claim that cost Father of Asahd 100,000 units, which would have more than made up for the 29K more IGOR ended up selling.
