DJ Akademiks Says Drake Stepped Away From Being 'A Jewish Rapper'

Earlier this month, DJ Vlad came down on Drake for not speaking on the Israel-Hamas war since Drizzy is Jewish. 

Now, DJ Akademiks weighed in on the subject, and he said part of the reason for Drake's silence is that he no longer reps the Jewish community in his music. Vlad also criticized DJ Khaled in his message.

"I do think when it comes to Drake and Khaled, it’s probably a concerted effort of not trying to isolate people,”Ak told Vlad. “It’s like, 'Ok, if I say something, what will it even matter?' Do you think at this point that Drake is wearing the fact that he’s Jewish on his back? Not saying he’s not. I think he’s gone away from trying to be the, ‘Hey, this is the Jewish rapper.'”
