DJ Akademiks Responds To His Ex Girlfriend's Rape Claim

by Daryl Nelson

DJ Akademiks has broken his silence on his ex Ziya Abashae saying that he and his two friends raped her.

"You tried to save yourself after your friends assaulted me," said Abashae in a video a few days ago. "Whether or not you got drunk or not, I know that when you woke up, you were on top of me too. You raped me too."

Akademiks responded Tuesday, January 2, on Rumble and said the police already investigated Abashae's rape claim.

"This situation went to the cops over a year and a half ago," he said. "Me and my lawyer were openly cooperative because [when it involves] serious allegations,I don’t care who’s involved, I don’t want weird sh*t happening around me ... We helped the police. 'Whatever you need. You want a phone? You want passcodes? Let’s decrypt our DVR.' There is nothing they did not see."

"You know what the result of that investigation was?" Akademiks continued. "It was officially ruled by the D.A. and the police that there was nothing there. There ain’t no charges, there won’t be no charges."

He also seemed to throw shots at Meek Mill and Freddie Gibbs, who have been clowning him about the allegations.

"There’s been numerous individuals who probably felt a certain way about me over the years. Maybe their career wasn’t doing that good. They had to do some bunny-hopping for billionaires, had to sell their houses, they got dropped from their label,"Ak seemed to say about Meek.

He also brought up Gibbs getting jumped by Benny The Butcher's crew.

Do you think Ak's career will suffer in any way because of his ex's claim?
