Megan Thee Stallion released her new song "Whenever" a few days ago, and it quickly racked up over a million streams.

But DJ Akademiks said that number proves the single flopped based on the buzz she's had over the past few years.

"I’m not clowning Megan Thee Stallion for 1.2 million views or streams in four days," said Ak. "Here’s why I’m not clowning her: We had this whole misconception that Megan Thee Stallion was next up to be in the realm of like Cardi B, Doja Cat, and Nicki Minaj. That’s just not true."

"In reality, Megan Thee Stallion's not even hotter than GloRilla," he continued. "And I'm not saying this to disrespect her, I'm just saying the truth. … For me, a flop is always proportional. A flop means you think a person's gonna do this, but they do this … I think Megan Thee Stallion is a mid-level female artist … I think her buzz died down a bit."

Is Ak right? Should 1.2 million streams in a few days be considered a flop for Megan?

Remember, he's always been critical of the Houston rapper, ever since she accused Tory Lanez of shooting her.
