Distributor Of Kanye's "Vultures" Album wants It Taken Off All Platforms

by HHL JT

Kanye West struggled to find a distributor for his Vultures 1 album.

It was eventually released through FUGA — a business-to-business tech and label distribution platform for DSPs.

According to FUGA, Ye essentially stole this distribution, and they want the album removed from all platforms.

“Late last year, FUGA was presented with the opportunity to release Vultures 1. Exercising our judgment in the ordinary course of business, we declined to do so, a company spokesman told Billboard.   "On Friday, February 9, 2024, a long-standing FUGA client delivered the album Vultures 1 through the platform’s automated processes, violating our service agreement. Therefore, FUGA is actively working with its DSP partners and the client to remove Vultures 1 from our systems."

Kanye has yet to comment on this story.

He's also under fire for using samples from Ozzy Osbourne and Donna Summers on the album, even though he was explicitly told that he couldn't.
