Die Antwoord's Ninja Speaks On Drake 'Massive Faggot' Controversy [VIDEO]

In March of 2015, the South African rap-ravers Die Antwoord did a tour of Australia with Drake.

During the tour, the group's outspoken female emcee Yolandi Visser posted an IG photo of a Drake meme which read “I’m a massive faggot.” Then, in the caption, she wrote “Fuk. Drake was kak.”

In a new interview with Vice, Ninja of Die Antwoord admitted he was the one who jumped on Yolandi's IG and posted the anti-Drake material. He added the post did express their true feelings about Drake and his performance.

He explained that the post -- which blew up in the media -- caused Sony to drop Die Antwoord from the tour's promotions and caused awkwardness in the hotel when they would run into Drake and his crew.

Little did Ninja know a year later he would run into Drake again, thanks to Kanye West.

Ninja was visiting 'Ye at his Calabasas, California home when he was informed that they would be going over to 'Ye's neighbor Drake's house to play basketball.

Ninja figured he would be in trouble, but instead Drake and his boys, who he remembered from Australia, pretended there were no issues.

"This is the problem with rap music today," Ninaj says. "Nobody said anything. Nobody hit me."
He goes on to describe the game, which had lots of funny moments. He also revealed that Drake films all of his games and then makes highlight tapes which are filled with him making all the good plays.

Which sounds about right.
