Diddy & Jermaine Dupri Will Go One On One

by Daryl Nelson

Diddy and Jermaine Dupri will be facing each other in a hit-for-hit competition but it won't be a part of Verzuz.

The two men spoke about it on Instagram Live on Thursday, August 18 after Diddy issued the challenge.

The Bad Boy mogul also said that he didn't want the face-off to be with Verzuz since Swizz Beatz and Timbaland are accusing Triller of stiffing them on payments. Timb and Swizz sold Verzuz to the company last year and are now suing them for $28 million.

"JD, if you want that smoke, you can get that smoke anytime," said the Bad Boy mogul. "Since we ain’t f*cking with Verzuz no more 'cause they f*cking around with our boys, we don’t need to be going against each other. Let’s come together and do that Bad Boy, So So Def in Atlanta. It ain’t no Verzuz, it’s just hit for hit.”

Dupri then agreed to the face-off.

Last year, Diddy told the So So Def founder that he'd "smash" him a Verzuz battle, and Dupri said he'd be the victor.

Who do you think will come out on top?
