Did Kendrick Lamar just announce his next album?

It's not clear, but the TDE rapper emptied his entire Instagram page and posted a photo with the roman numeral IV.

A post shared by Kendrick Lamar (@kendricklamar) on

It seems  a good bet that IV represents Kendrick's fourth album (Section.80, good kid, m.A.A.d city, To Pimp a Butterfly.) His last release Untitled, Unmastered was a collection of unreleased songs and not an official album.

K Dot hasn't spoken all that much about his next release. But in a recent interview he did with T Magazine, he said it'll have a spiritual vibe to it.

"I think now, how wayward things have gone within the past few months, my focus is ultimately going back to my community and the other communities around the world where they're doing the groundwork," he explained. "To Pimp a Butterfly was addressing the problem ... I'm not addressing the problem anymore ... We're in a time where we exclude one major component out of his whole thing called life: God."
It' possible that Kendrick will explain the IG post in the near future, but for now you can check out the Twitter responses.
