Yo Gotti made this year's Shawn Carter Charity Gala really famous by losing 500K on a blackjack hand.

But the charity event was also notable for its invites: JAY-Z sent Roc Nation artists and friends like Gotti, Meek Mill, and Swizz Beatz Rolexes with their official invitations.

Despite being on the Roc Nation roster, Jim Jones got neither got a watch nor an invite, something he seemed to acknowledge in an Instagram post right before the Gala last week.

Jones was always an odd signing for Roc -- he and Hov had dissed each other for years.

Now there's a theory bouncing around that Jay signed Jones to Roc just to snub him later.

Probably not, but it's fun to think about. Maybe Jay just didn't want Jones around with all of that Tekashi 6ix9ine/Tr3way wiretap weirdness.
