Dez Bryant To Be Repped By Jay Z's Roc Nation; Jerry Jones Not Happy

Dallas Cowboy Dez Bryant has singed with Jay-Z's Roc Nation.

And like with former Yankees star Robinson Cano, who linked up with Roc last baseball off-season, Bryant's current team isn't happy with the switch.

Bryant, a first round draft pick of Dallas in 2010, fired agent Eugene Parker recently and is now on his fourth rep with Roc. This will be his most important agent, as the Pro Bowler is entering into free agency for the first time after the season.

Dallas could use the franchise tag to keep Bryant for the next two years, but there have also been reports the team is trying to extend Bryant's five-year $11.8 million contract.

"I'm going to tell you the God's honest truth: I'd be highly disappointed," Bryant told ESPN of the possibility of the Cowboys using the franchise tag on him. "I'd be highly disappointed."

According to Adam Schefter of the network, Bryant linked up with Jay-Z against the wishes of Cowboy's owner Jerry Jones. Bryant's former agent Parker had had a long-standing relationship with Dallas and Jones felt more comfortable dealing with him than with a Roc Nation wildcard.

"I feel like it fits me," Bryant said of the move to Jay-Z. "It fits what I'm trying to do, what I'm trying to accomplish in life. I want to be the best that I can possibly be. It ain't about a contract. It's about me branding myself and being an icon for these kids. I love kids and they look up to me.

Top NFL agent Tom Condon is apparently in talks with Roc to partner with them on Bryant. Condon's well paid football clients include Drew Brees and the Manning brothers.

Do you think this spells the end of Bryant in Dallas?
