After the news about 'Timmy Turner' surfaced, the Brooklyn rapper thanked his fans on Instagram and let them know that more music is on the way. Desiigner's label Def Jam also posted a message and congratulated him.
When the Mike Dean produced-tune initially dropped, there was talk on the Internet about who Timmy Turner is and what the song is really about.
"Timmy Turner is me," said the 19-year-old in an interview with All Def Digital. "I was referring to a girl that, you know, would do anything for the fame ... It's a story line about a little bit about my struggle, and the pain I was feeling at the moment."
