Derrick Rose Denies Drugging And Gang Raping Ex-Girfriend

A woman who says she dated Derrick Rose between 2011 and 2013 has leveled some very serious charges against the point guard in a new lawsuit.

According to "Jane Doe", Rose, his personal manager and another of his friends invited her to Rose's Beverly Hills home toward the end of their relationship and then drugged her with the intention of raping her.

She says she escaped, but the men followed her to her apartment and gang raped her there. Doe reports only remembering "flashes" of the incident, but does recollect the men penetrating her.

Doe says it took her two years to file suit because she was ashamed and embarrassed about what happened.

Rose's lawyer Lisa Cohen denied the charges, calling them "an attempt to shake down a highly respected and successful athlete."

Cohen classified the relationship between Rose and his accuser as a "non-exclusive, consensual sexual relationship for over two years" and says this is the third lawyer Doe has hired to try to sue Rose.

"We have complete confidence that the case will be dismissed and that Mr. Rose will be vindicated. This lawsuit is outrageous," Cohen told TMZ.
