When Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid was asked who the greatest basketball player of all time was he didn't say Michael Jordan or LeBron James.

He went a little further back and GOATed Wilt Chamberlain. 

It's a defensible position since many of Chamberlain's stats have only been repeated in video games. Plus, Embiid and Chamberlain are both seven-footers who went to Kansas and then played for Philly -- so Embiid's going to have some extra affinity for Wilt The Stilt.

However, when TMZ asked Jordan's former teammate Dennis Rodman about Embiid picking Chamberlain over MJ, the Worm showed no mercy.

“Joel Embiid, you're doing a great job for your little island or country where you're from. Shut the f**k up, go do your goddamn job and do Philly proud. That's the 1 thing they need, a championship," Rodman said, and then made it clear Embiid was wrong on MJ vs. Wilt.

Embiid is from Cameroon. For the record, it is isn't close to being an island.
