DeMarcus Cousins Issued An Arrest Warrant

An arrest warrant for third-degree harassment has been issued for NBA player DeMarcus Cousins.

The warrant comes after Cousin's ex and mother of his 7-year-old child Christy West filed a police report in Mobile, Alabama last Friday. She accused the Los Angeles Laker of threatening to kill her and had a recording as proof.

"I'm gonna ask you this one more time before I take it to another level," a male voice was heard saying on the phone. "Can I have my son here, please?"

West then said no without hesitation, to which the voice responded ...

"I'm gonna make sure I put a bullet in your f**king head," the voice threatened.

The Lakers, who just picked up Cousins, addressed the allegation before the warrant was issued.

"We are aware of the allegation involving DeMarcus Cousins and of course take this claim seriously," a statement read. "We are in the process of gathering information and will reserve further comment at this time."
