Death Row Rappers Screwed Out Of Millions In Bankruptcy Settlement

by HHL Editors

The long, long bankruptcy of Death Row Records is finally over, and it looks like some boldfaced names have been screwed out of some pretty serious cash.

Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and the estates of Tupac and Nate Dogg had all filed with the court to get back some of the money Death Row owed them. However, when the bankruptcy closed Dre ended up losing $8 million, Nate Dogg $5 million, Snoop $2 million and Tupac $900,000.

According to documents seen by TMZ, the Tupac estate was the only one to get anything -- around $100K -- back.

But it wasn't Suge Knight who necessarily benefited from their loses. The imprisoned Death Row founder claimed he was owed $144 million by the label, but will be getting none of that.

So who did get paid? The lawyers who processed the case will walk away with a combined $8.3 million.
