De'Aaron Fox Snags A Shoe Deal

by HHL Editors

De'Aaron Fox is a lot less picky when it comes to shoe deals than Lonzo Ball is.

The former Kentucky Wildcats freshman star has inked a multi-year sneaker deal with Nike.

Financial terms weren't disclosed.  But Fox was sought after by all the major brands, suggesting he got at least $2 million a year.

Lonzo and his basketball dad LaVar reportedly turned down offers in the 2 million per year range, and are instead focusing on producing shoes through their own Big Baller Brand.

The word is that Ball could get closer to $4 million a year if he gets drafted by his hometown Lakers, but that LaVar would turn that down, too.

On that point, there is now chatter that the Lakers may draft Fox over Ball with the draft's two pick.
