DDG Explains Why Drake Won The Battle Against Kendrick Lamar

DDG was asked who won the battle between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, and he went with Drizzy, despite popular opinion.

"I think Drake is the best artist alive, personally. Not even being, like, biased or whatever but, like, just from a listener's standpoint, Drake has went platinum in all genres, and that’s not really … people haven’t really done it."

If anything, DDG's answer gives a glimpse into how some people judge battles because when asked who won, he didn't mention anything about who had the better songs in the epic back-and-forth. 

He also said nothing about who had the better diss lines in the battle; he merely said Drake won due to his past chart success.
