Danny Brown Explains Why Childish Gambino Tour Was The 'Worst'

During a chat with Redveil, Danny Brown spoke about the worst tour he's ever done.

Around 2012, Brown hit the road with Childish Gambino, who had done the track "Toxic" with.

However, the two rappers had different fanbases and that didn't end well for Brown. [Jump to 26 minutes.]

"Childish Gambino. I remember when I first did that, people weren’t really f*cking with Childish Gambino like that around that time. I remember when he asked me to go on that tour. My manager at the time was like, ‘You sure you wanna do this?’ I’m like, ‘Hell yeah, f*ck that. I’m trying to get on the road.’ Which was, I will say, that was like one of the worst tours I ever played," Brown remembered.   “They hated my guts every night – I was getting booed off stage. I remember I was crying one night, crying crocodile tears like a little bitch, sitting in some diner ... They hate me, man. This sh*t sucks. I’m really trash.'”

Despite his hatred of the tour, Brown had love for Donald Glover and praised his all-around talent.
