Danny Brown Announces New Album Executive Produced By Q-TIp

by Benny Franklin

It's been three years since Danny Brown released an album, but it looks like that is changing soon.

Danny recently sat down with High Snobiety to discuss his career, and what he has in store for the future, and according to the Detroit rapper, he has a new album on its way.

The legendary Q-Tip will be the executive producer, and he has a feature from El-P on the project.

There is no info yet on when the project will be released, or what it's called, but that information should be coming soon.

In a High Snobiety cover story, Danny Brown revealed that his next album is titled 'U Know What I’m Sayin?'. Although the magazine lists Q-Tip as the project’s producer, Brown later issued a correction, noting that Q-Tip will instead serve as the executive producer on the album.

In 2016, he hinted at the upcoming project in an interview with Complex. “I’m working on my next album right now. I can’t really talk too much about it. I would just say it’s being produced by one producer, who’s legendary in hip-hop. And it’s gonna be a big deal,” he said. It seems that Q-Tip was the producer in question.

Still no word on the album’s release date, but Brown also stated it will feature El-P 👀
