DaniLeigh has been charged with two misdemeanor assaults following a heated argument with her child's father DaBaby on Sunday that went viral.
According to DaniLeigh's account, the fight started after she ordered an emergency contraceptive to DaBaby's North Carolina condo. The "Rockstar"rapper then started filming her before accusing her of assault.
In one social media post, DaBaby said that he had no interest in pressing charges on his child's mother —who's real name is Danielle Curiel — he just wanted her to leave his home. But that didn't keep DaniLeigh from being arrested.
“As a result of the investigation, Curiel was served with a Criminal Summons for Simple Assault,” read a statement from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department. “Officers also obtained additional information that led them to charge Curiel with a second count of Simple Assault from the incident on Nov. 14.”
