A man didn't think his 13-year old son got anything close to that value for his trim and confronted the barber with his boy's botched 'do.
So the barber agreed to fix it for free. However, as they were all leaving after the touch-up, the dad and barber started arguing in the parking lot. Then dad opened fire and shot the barber three times, in the stomach, leg, and arm.
He's in stable condition and is expected to survive.
The shooter (and his son) are still at large.
“I think it’s just crazy for anyone to shoot anybody over a haircut, period," Detective Wallace Wyatt said. "Like I said, the disturbing part is his 13-year-old son witnessed this, which makes him a part of this, so this 13-year-old son knows he needs to come forward and tell us what happened. The father knows he needs to come forward and tell us what happened. Just to be an example, to be a good father and say, 'I messed up. I have something to prove to my son, and this is how you fix it.'"
Police say the Saturday afternoon incident was captured by security cameras and seen by multiple eye-witnesses.
