DaBaby Talks About The 'Adjustments' He's Made Because Of The Rolling Loud Controversy

by Daryl Nelson

The date of July 25, 2021 will probably always stand out to DaBaby.

That's the day he made disparaging remarks about the LGBTQ community at Rolling Loud in Miami. The North Carolina rapper was kicked off a bunch of shows and festivals after that. He also lost business deals and was pretty much canceled.

DaBaby spoke about the controversy while on SiriusXM’s The Heat and the changes he's made since then.

"I grow every day but above all, I’m just more knowledgeable about the tolerance of the business I’m in," he said, according to AllHipHop. "It’s a learning process. We go from doing this and that. And then, well, I’m speaking for myself, go from doing this to being an artist, 24/7 full time ... Not only that, I was an artist at the highest level. Like I made it to the highest level of this sh*t. So, it’s like you get there, there are adjustments that you gotta make, just like becoming a grown-ass man in life.”

Do you see big brands working with DaBaby again or no?
