DaBaby Show In Miami Cancelled Due To Community Concerns

DaBaby won't be playing Story nightclub in South Beach Sunday night.

The NC rapper was involved in a shooting in South Beach over the Memorial Day weekend that resulted in two critical injuries and two men in DaBaby's entourage arrested.

Some locals complained that Story would book DaBaby so soon after the shooting, and their complaints got to the venue's owner David Grutman, who cancelled the show.

“MAJOR UPDATE: DaBaby will no longer be playing Story nightclub on Sunday evening,” Joseph Magazine, who opposed the show, wrote on Facebook. “An incredible community advocate, Michael Grieco reached out to Mr. Grutman, who was personally unaware this act was booked, and Mr. Grutman immediately ensured DaBaby was cancelled given concerns of the community. This is an incredible example of our community working hand in hand with our local businesses.”

No word from DaBaby, who is still allowed to do shows in other cities.  For now.
