DaBaby wasn't able to make a show in his hometown of Charlotte, N.C. on Thursday night, so he performed on FaceTime.
He was supposed to do Power 98's Winter Block Party at the Bojangles Coliseum. But when he tried to get to Charlotte from New York, his jet had some maintenance trouble and it couldn't take off.
So the "Suge" rapper performed his on his phone instead, which was put up on the jumbo screen inside the venue. He sent a message to his fans on Instagram as well.
"Dear Charlotte. Due to circumstances beyond my control I was unable to make it my show in my OWN city last night♂️. Paid extra for a jet just to make sure this type of sh*t wouldn’t happen," wrote DaBaby. " Although Baby a firm believer in everything happening for a reason I can’t get over the fact that I let my fans(FAMILY) down by not being able to make it."
