DaBaby Loses Partnership With Clothing Line For His Homophobic Comments

by Daryl Nelson

The homophobic comments that DaBaby made at Rolling Loud on Sunday night has cost him a partnership with the clothing line boohooMan.

“If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDS, or any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases, that’ll make you die in two to three weeks, then put your cell phone lighter up,” said DaBaby.“Ladies, if your p*ssy smell like water, put your cell phone light in the air. Fellas, if you ain’t sucking dick in the parking lot, put your cell phone lighter up.”

In their statement, the clothing line said they champion diversity, so they simply can't work with the North Carolina rapper. But so far, people like T.I. has defended DaBaby.

"boohooMAN condemn the use of homophobic language and confirm we will no longer be working with DaBaby,"read an Instagram message. "Diversity and inclusion are part of the boohoo Groups DNA and we pride ourselves on representing the diverse customers we serve across the globe. We stand by and support the LGBTQ+ community, and do not tolerate any hate speech or discrimination in any form."
