Curren$y & 808 Mafia's Purps Have An EP Dropping Soon

by Sermon

It's almost been a month since Curren$y and Alchemist released The Carrollton Heist. By his standards, enough time has passed that Spitta wants to drop another EP very soon. It will be his third project of 2016, and fourth since December.

For this EP, titled Bourbon Street Secrets, Curren$y went to L.A. where he recorded five songs with 808 Mafia's Purps. The two have worked together in the past. Purps did several songs on Canal St. Confidential.

This won't be the last time Curren$y pops up this year as he's already suggested that his 2009 album with Wiz Khalifa is dropping in August. Is it time for him to slow down?

Oh this just in..... When I was in Los Angeles a couple weeks ago I did 5 tracks wit @itspurps and forgot about them till just now.
