Some folks say Cordae is the future of rap.

The former YBN member is known for his new school style that impresses the old heads and having a bit of wisdom at age 23.

During a chat on the "Earn Your Leisure podcast, Cordae explained why young rappers knowingly take bad deals.

"Most n*ggas get into bad deals 'cause they like, 'F*ck it, I know it's a bad deal but n*gga I'ma get in, this gonna get me in the game, I don't got sh*t right now, and I'll cross that bridge when it comes. I'll worry about that sh*t later,'" Cordae said. "Most people don't even have the business acumen or the access to the information or knowledge."
