Consequence Tells Kanye West That He Refuses To Be In TMZ's Ye Documentary

by Daryl Nelson

Consequence may have ripped his longtime friend Kanye West on social media last year, but that doesn't mean he isn't still riding for him.

On Tuesday, February 6, Cons posted a text exchange that he had with Ye after being asked by TMZ to participate in their documentary called Kanye West: Unhinged but Unstoppable.

"That's Love," Ye wrote back to him.

Cons also explained why he refused to be in the doc.

Loyalty over Royalties

I was approached by @TMZ to be featured in their special “Kanye West: Unhinged but Unstoppable”

I myself have had great interactions with Harvey and Charles but anyone who really knows YE would know that he would feel leveraged and exploited by this move… pic.twitter.com/4oPAQr8dBw

"Loyalty over Royalties I was approached by @TMZ to be featured in their special 'Kanye West: Unhinged but Unstoppable,'" he tweeted. "I myself have had great interactions with Harvey and Charles but anyone who really knows YE would know that he would feel leveraged and exploited by this move even if you’re speaking on him in a positive light. That being said, even with what has recently transpired, I opted to pass… All Money ain’t G.O.O.D. Money. QUEENS GET THE MONEY."

As for Cons ripping Ye last year, it had to do with Ye saying that no one has his back, which offended the New York rapper.
